Welcome to our FAQ center. Below are answers to the most common questions asked by our clients regarding PCB fabrication, PCBA assembly, and Lithium Battery Management Systems (BMS).


1. About Our Capabilities & Factory Strength

Q1: Are you a trading company or a factory?

A:​ We are a source factory​ integrating PCB fabrication, PCBA assembly, and BMS R&D/manufacturing​ under one roof. Unlike trading companies, we own our SMT lines, DIP workshops, and testing labs, allowing us to control costs, quality, and lead times directly.

Q2: What certifications do your products hold?

A:​ Our facility is certified with ISO 9001 (Quality Management)​ and UL (Underwriters Laboratories). All our PCBA and BMS products are strictly compliant with RoHS​ and CE​ standards. Specific product series can also meet IEC 62619​ and UN38.3​ requirements for battery applications.

Q3: Do you support both prototype and mass production?

A:​ Absolutely. We specialize in low-volume prototyping​ (as fast as 24-hour turnaround) for R&D verification, and seamless scaling to high-volume mass production​ (10k+ units/month) with consistent quality.


2. BMS Technical & Selection Guide

Q4: How do I choose the right BMS for my battery pack?

A:​ You need to confirm four key parameters:

  1. Chemistry:​ Li-ion/NMC (3.6V-3.7V per cell) or LiFePO4 (3.2V per cell).

  2. Series & Parallel:​ The number of cells in series (e.g., 13S for 48V NMC).

  3. Current Rating:​ The maximum continuous discharge current (e.g., 25A, 50A, 100A).

  4. Functions:​ Whether you need communication (Bluetooth/CAN/RS485) or special features (e.g., heating, pre-charge).

Q5: What is the difference between "Same Port" and "Different Port" BMS?

A:

  • Same Port (同口):​ Charging and discharging share the same output wires. It is simpler to install but usually has lower charging current limits.

  • Different Port (分口):​ Charging and discharging have separate wires (C- and P-). It allows for higher charging currents and independent control.

Q6: Can your BMS communicate with our inverter or system?

A:​ Yes. We offer advanced BMS solutions with CAN Bus, RS485, and UART​ protocols. We can customize the communication protocol to match major inverter brands (e.g., Deye, Growatt, Victron) for data exchange (SOC, voltage, temperature).


3. PCB & PCBA Manufacturing

Q7: What information is required for a PCB/PCBA quotation?

A:​ To provide an accurate quote, please provide:

  • Gerber files​ (RS-274-X format).

  • Bill of Materials (BOM)​ list (Excel format with part numbers, quantities, and descriptions).

  • Quantity​ (per batch and annual volume).

  • Technical requirements​ (e.g., surface finish: HASL/ENIG, copper thickness, impedance control).

Q8: How do you handle the global chip shortage for PCBA?

A:​ We maintain a strategic component inventory​ and have established long-term partnerships with authorized distributors (e.g., Digi-Key, Mouser, Arrow). For hard-to-find parts, we offer IC sourcing services​ and suggest alternative components (PCN) for your approval before production.

Q9: What is your standard PCB stack-up capability?

A:​ We manufacture a wide range:

  • Layers:​ 1-32 layers.

  • Material:​ FR4 (Standard), Aluminum (LED/Motor), Rogers (High Frequency), Polyimide (Flexible).

  • Thickness:​ 0.4mm - 3.2mm.

  • Copper Weight:​ 1oz - 6oz (for high-current BMS applications).


4. Quality Control & Testing

Q10: How do you guarantee the quality of the BMS and PCBA?

A:​ We implement a multi-stage QC system:

  1. IQC:​ Incoming material inspection for all components.

  2. IPQC:​ In-process inspection during SMT and DIP.

  3. AOI & X-Ray:​ Automated Optical Inspection and X-Ray for BGA/QFN chips to ensure no cold solder joints.

  4. FCT:​ 100% Functional Circuit Testing for PCBA and BMS (simulating real battery loads).

  5. Aging Test:​ Burn-in testing under rated current for BMS.

Q11: What is your warranty policy?

A:​ We offer a standard 12-month warranty​ against manufacturing defects. If any quality issues arise due to our workmanship, we will repair or replace the products free of charge.


5. Logistics, Shipping & Support

Q12: What is your typical lead time?

A:

  • PCB Prototypes:​ 24 - 48 hours.

  • PCBA Samples:​ 5 - 7 days.

  • Mass Production:​ 2 - 4 weeks (depending on component availability and quantity).

Q13: How do you ship the goods?

A:​ We have partnerships with major forwarders (DHL, FedEx, UPS) for express delivery (3-5 days worldwide). For bulk orders, we offer air freight​ or sea freight​ (FCL/LCL) with door-to-door service, including customs clearance assistance.

Q14: Do you provide technical support for installation?

A:​ Yes. We provide detailed wiring diagrams, connection videos, and remote technical support. Our engineers are available via email, WhatsApp, or Skype to assist you with commissioning and troubleshooting.


6. Pricing & Payment

Q15: Why is your price lower than local suppliers?

A:​ As a direct factory in China, we benefit from supply chain integration​ and high automation. We cut out the middleman markup, passing the savings directly to you without compromising on quality.

Q16: What payment methods do you accept?

A:​ We accept T/T (Bank Transfer), PayPal​ (for samples), Western Union, and Letter of Credit (L/C)​ for large orders.
